Sri Lankan cuisine is NOT Indian food (don't doubt... we love Indian food too) but it has its own distinctive spin, there is an explosive kick, flavourful, fiery taste that burst in your mouth from the sweet caramelised onions, sharp pickles, tangy mallum and the star of the meal, the heavily spiced yet light curries which make up a delectable feast every day.
